Lady Margaret's Park, Caravan Club Site, Chirk, Wrexham, LL14 5AA, Telephone 01691 777200

To Find Site:- From south on A5 and take B5070 into Chirk. At the War Memoriam  in Chirk turn left and continue towards Chirk Station. At mini roundabout continue straight on over railway bridge and up hill towards the ornamental gates and turn left into lane that takes you to site entrance.

Lady Margaret's Park is a very attractive site surrounded by mature trees. This members only site has 109 pitches, of which 64 are hard standing - very useful given the whether in this part of the UK! The site has a circular road which accesses most of the pitches but there are a couple of wooded areas as well. The majority of hardstandings are well sized being large enough for car, caravan, and awning. However there are a few in one area of the site that are only large enough for van and awning.  We were on site in April and only the hardstandings were being used. There is one centrally situated toilet block which is, of course, up to the usual Caravan Club standards.  Reception sells  a few essentials like milk and papers can be ordered. For the children there is a centrally situated play area. There are lots of dog walking opportunities.

The village of Chirk is a short walk away, there are several shops and takeaways including a Co-Op supermarket. For a larger supermarket I suspect that you would have to travel to Wrexham. Chirk is convenient for most of the tourist sites in this part of North Wales as well as walking. The Llangollen Canal is nearby and makes an interesting excursion.
