When heading north or south on the A6/A31 take Autoroute towards Paris and then take first exit. This road takes you down into the town of Beaune, watch out for campsite signs to the right.
 

This is one of a group of really excellent municipal campsites in France and I can not recommend it highly enough. Although it is mainly used as an overnight stop it is certainly worth a stay of a few days. Popularity means that you have to arrive early as it is usually full by 3.00pm in high season. The pitches are mainly on gravel surrounded by hedges. Because of the layout larger outfits may have difficulties getting into some pitches. I understand twin axle vans are not accepted. The toilets and showers are to an excellent standard. The site as a small bar/restaurant which also does takeaway food. Just a short walk for the site is the centre of Beaune which is well worth a visit.
