To find site leave A34, in either direction, at the Bletchingdon turn and take the B4027, the site is on the left in about a mile. This site would be handy for visiting Oxford and is quite close to Bicester.

This site is undergoing a transformation. A year ago it was purchased by the Hodge family who own Bo Peep Farm at Adderbury, and is run by Roger Hodge. There is also a husband and wife warden team who seem very pleasant. When we last visited the site, about 12 years ago, I was not overly impressed with the size of the pitches. This is now being addressed. Whilst not all pitches are the same size most are quite generous and defined by either hedges or single low fence panels. Site visited: April 2002. Diamond Farm is not a large site having only 40 pitches plus a tent area. The pitches are in two areas. The main part has a circular road with hard standing pitches around the outside. The central section is all on grass. A second smaller area is at the back of the site with a play area behind that. The reception has quite a good selection of basic foodstuffs. There is a bar and games room and an interesting feature of the site is that it has a swimming pool, although it does not allow unaccompanied children under 16 years of age. It is difficult to comment on the toilet facilities as during our visit they consisted of a Porta Loo. However the new toilet block is only weeks away from completion and it looks absolutely superb, it even includes a family room with a bath (the warden gave me a sneak preview).
