To find site approach from either the Cromer or Sheringham direction on the A149. In West Runton turn into road signed for the station and Aylmerton. Once over the railway bridge turn first left, the site entrance is in about 600 yards along a narrow road so care is required.

275 Pitches, Caravans, Motor Caravans, Trailer Tents - no Tents, Members only This large site is set around two sides of a hill, further divided by the West Runton golf course. All pitches are on grass and levelling blocks are required in parts. Some pitches are set out in terraces. The higher pitches up from the reception block have sea views. There are four toilet/shower blocks, there is also a large play area. When we visited the site only half the pitches were open but there was still plenty of room.

Both Cromer and Sheringham are about equal distance from the site and both are worth a visit although in my view Sheringham is the nicer of the two and is also home of the North Norfolk Railway, it also has a popular Saturday market. If you want a big supermarket there is a Safeway in Cromer, next to the railway station. A short walk from the site is West Runton station with regular trains to Norwich, it certainly takes the stress out of taking a car into the city. The train also makes a stop at Wroxham if you want to look round this central Broads village. Roys of Wroxham is always worth a visit. Blickling Hall is only about 10 miles from the site, opening times vary according to the time of year.
