To find site:- Exit A3 motorway at junction 71 south of Wurzburg in the direction of Ochsenfurt on the B13. On the approach to Ochsenfurt do not cross river but take road straight ahead signed for Kitzingen. The campsite is signed on the right after 1km and is well signed.

This campsite is situated directly on the River Main a couple of kilometres from Ochsenfurt. Like a lot of German sites it has a mixture of permanent caravans and touring pitches. The site accepts the ACSI Card however if you want a riverside pitch or a serviced pitch you will pay an extra €3 a night. Site fees can be paid by credit card. The pitches are all of a reasonable size and have 10 amp electrics. Water points  are situated at the ends of rows. For those only wanting to stay one night they have a special area set aside where you can remain hitched up. The site is closed between 13.00 and 15.00pm. Its a good idea to consider this before arriving as there is not much space outside of the gates. There is one central toilet block which is to a very good standard. Reception has local information and next door is a small site shop selling a few essentials and bread can be ordered the day before. At the end of the main facility block is a small swimming pool. The site also has a restaurant/bar. T-Mobile have a hotspot at the campsite and you can buy time on-line.

Apart from the local towns of Ochsenfurt and Frickenhausen, which are close to the site, Wurzburg is also within easy reach either by car, bus or train. For general shopping there is a good Rewe supermarket not far from the Bahnhof in Ochsenfurt. One advantage of using the Rewe supermarkets is that they are unusual in accepting credit cards, this is not the norm in Germany.
