To Find Site:- From south on N27 head towards Dieppe. At Saint Aubin sur Scie follow signs for Petit-Appeville and Pourville. As you pass the Hautot sur Mer sign this is also the corner of the campsite and the entrance is about a hundred metres further on.

This site is situated in picturesque valley just inland from the sea. Whilst it is a predominantly a site for permanent and seasonal campers it does have 65 attractive touring pitches all on grass except a small number of motorhome only pitches which on a strip of hardstanding. The general touring pitches are of a reasonable size and some face onto the fishing lakes that are part of the site. Campers with small children will need to consider this as the lake edges are unguarded. Electric connections are rated at 6amps and use CEE17 blue plugs. Water taps are dotted around the site but grey water waste can only be disposed of at the chemical emptying point or the motorhome service point. The single main toilet block is clean and functional if a little old fashioned and gloomy with seatless toilets and no paper provided. All the facilities are at the entrance of the site near to reception. This includes a nice heated swimming pool complex, a restaurant/bar/takeaway. The reception sells a few essentials and bread can be ordered. For children there is a playground and an enclosed ball area, however this is away from the main pitching areas. There is site wide WiFi but is provided by a fairly expensive third party and time can be purchased online. The site accepts the ACSI Card during the low season.

We used this site for a few days on our way back to Calais. Being close to Dieppe it would also be handy for ferries to and from that Port. For shopping needs everything you are likely to need will be found in Dieppe including a large supermarket. There are cycle paths from the campsite towards the coast which is about a mile from the campsite.

It was our original intention to stay at another campsite called La Source which is about a mile further inland and in the Camping Cheque book. Two things put us off, firstly the access is very tight and from one direction almost impossible for long outfits. Secondly we found the owner/manager not very pleasant and quite frankly, despite getting good reviews on some websites we were not particularly impressed and left after about 15 minutes!
