To Find Site:- Coming from the north leave A31 and take A6 towards Paris and leave at first junction signed for Beaune. At second set of traffic lights turn right and then bear left following camping signs. The campsite is on the right in about 100 metres.

This lovely Municipal campsite is situated on the edge of Beaune town centre in an urban environment. This is a very popular campsite for overnight stops so early arrival would be a good idea, particularly in the high season. There are a 116 hedged pitches consisting of about half and half grass and hardstandings, the later being very useful in wet weather. Some of the site roads are not so wide so access for large units could be difficult in parts of the site. Pitches are allocated on arrival no doubt with the size and type of outfit you have in mind. They vary in size but most are quite generous. Electric points are convenient to each pitch and accept CEE 17 blue connectors but best to check for reverse polarity. The supply is rated at a useful 10 amps. Water points are dotted around the site although it seems as though some pitches may also have individual water and waste connections but I think this has to be arranged with reception. There are two very good modern toilet blocks with seatless toilets and paper provided in the cubicles. There are also laundry facilities provided in each block. The motorhome service point is at the entrance to the site and can block the entrance/exit whilst in use. The site has a small restaurant/bar with and outside terrace and bread can be purchased here each morning. Next to this is a television room which also double as an internet point for WiFi, which is free of charge. With a suitable signal booster you may well be able to receive a WiFi signal at your pitch.

Whilst this site is popular as an over nighter it is equally useful for a short stay to visit Beaune, the centre being a short walk from the site. Further out are a number of famous vineyards some of which have tours available. For supermarkets there is an Aldi about a kilometre away and a large E LeClerc about two kilometres away towards the motorway.
