To Find Site:-  From Inntel motorway exit following signs to Imst. At roundabout by Billa Supermarket turn right and watch out for an immediate left turn signed for campsite. Follow road round and entrance is on the right.

Campingpark Imst-West is situated in and urban environment on one side and open alpine pastures on the other. The town is surrounded by mountains offering excellent vistas. It is not a large site having about 70 touring pitches and is a popular stopover for the Fern Pass. Pitch size is not generous and when full the site can feel slightly cramped.  It is run by a pleasant young couple who both speak excellent English and work hard to maintain the site. The site is open all year and whilst all pitches are on grass they have a fairly hard ground conditions. The site has two sections plus a smaller area for tents. The first section nearest reception is reasonable level but the second section has a downward slope which will require some levelling. Electric points are rated at 16 amps and use CEE17 blue connectors. Water is only available at the toilet blocks although given the compact size of the site this should not be an issue. The motorhome service point is at the site entrance. Surprisingly for a site of this size there are two toilet blocks although only the main block next to reception has showers and disabled facilities. They both appear to be very recently built and the quality is superb. Both have covered washing up areas and clothes washing sinks, washing machine and tumble dryer in the main block. For children there is a play area and a play room. There is also a bar and small terrace. Reception can provide information on visiting Imst and cycle ways in and around the town. There is site wide   WiFi at a cost of €2 a day although the signal strength was intermittent. The site accepts the ACSI Card discount in the low season.

This site is used a lot as a stopover but is worthy of a longer stay. The Fern Pass is near so can easily be explored from the site. There are cycling paths from near the site. Also near to the site are restaurants and several supermarkets within a short walk from the site. The town of Imst is about a mile from the site and is worth a look. Make a stop at the Regensburger Café/Konditorei which is excellent and the staff friendly.
